Hi All,
As you may have seen, RHA has just launched two new in ears and we’d like to run a sample programme for both MA750 and MA600.
In order to reflect the community-minded nature of Head-fi, we’d like to distribute samples in pairs. If you would like to receive a sample set to review, we ask that you also nominate a fellow Head-fi’er to receive a sample. Ideally those who you nominate will be forum users whose sonic preferences are in line with the sound signatures of our new products and have experience testing similar products. We’ll be selecting 4 pairs of Head-fi’ers, which means we’ll be sending out 8 sets of headphones in total.
Onto the sound signatures!
MA750: We designed the MA750s with handmade 560.1 drivers for precise, balanced and articulate sound reproduction with a great depth of soundstage.
BigAund agreed, posting that he finds them “good all rounders with nice bass, good detail and a pretty large soundstage.” ClieOS also enjoyed the MA750, saying that “ have to say I am quite impressed.”
Udauda measured them and commented that “With the help of RHA's proprietary Aerophonic™ Design & the hand-crafted driver, its treble extends all the way up to 20 kHz, and secures miniscule details that can easily be overlooked with most of conventional IEMs. As such feat is extremely critical for reproducing the sound of instruments with rich harmonic components, such as a violin and a clarinet, MA750 finds its glory when an accurate treble is essential.”
We’re offering 4 sample sets of our MA750s in total; nominate a Head-fi’er who you know prefers an open soundstage and detailed sound and both yourself and your nominee will receive a sample set of the MA750 for review.
MA600: We built the MA600s with our customer 320.1 drivers for precise and balanced sound reproduction.
Warrenpchi tried out the MA600 and thought that ‘If you're straddling that line between basshead and traditional audiophilia, this should be near the top of your audition list.’ He went on to say ‘Overall, the signature leans warm and is very bassy in the low end and lower mids... transitioning into a unexpectedly smooth and refined mid-range and upper-mid-range. Highs are largely without fault, though lacking in the sparkly airyness that trebleheads favor.’
The same nomination system as for the MA750s will be used to distribute MA600 samples- nominate a Head-fi’er who you know likes a refined sound but with a little more bass, and both yourself and your nominee will receive sample set of the MA600s to review.
Nominations will be open for one week; followed by our selection process where we’ll determine the pairs of Head-fi’ers to receive sample sets of the MA750 and MA600.
We'll be closing nominations in 1 week.
Thanks,
RHA Team
