  has anyone tested the pandora VI with the 2nd Gen X3 from FiiO? how do they perform?
 
I am very interested in these headphones and thinking of buying them...

 
Just taken out the Pandora6 , hooked it to my audiogd amp...
that sound is just so so crazy spacious, dynammmmic...clean...refined...
mmuchmuchhbetter than some new closed cans a few hundreds up.

Out of those I only listen to jazz, but I have to say that jazz is one of the stronger genres for PH6

Welcome! If your ears are anything like mine you're in for an absolute blast. I feel the VI is the classy and mature (audiophile if you will) approach to electronic music. Don't expect boom. Expect tight, clear and clean.

Sounds too heavy, frankly. Even a good suspension style headband is not going to alleviate that.

The Sonorous X is 630g, the VIII is 490g, just 10g more than the Hope VI.

Just did an internet search and found the expecting price for the 2 new Sonorous. 
 
Price "SONOROUS VIII" is 388,000 yen, "SONOROUS X" is 629,000 yen (including tax).It's scheduled to be released in mid-July. So we are talking about 3300$ and 5300$ respectively. I guess I can start forgetting about them now lol.

Lol at those prices. It better knocks the VI all over the place. I don't see why they're targetting the tiny group of big spenders and choose to keep them out of reach for the mainstream.

Saw those prices as well. So SONOROUS X is more or less HE 1000 price, while SONOROUS VIII LCD 3 price.
