Do you know how the PR200 compares to the PR1 Pro?

Nope.

I'm still waiting on my PR100 and PR200. Anxiously.

Haven't listened to the PR1s in a while, but I wasn't able to get a proper seal because of the housing size or shape... anyway, hopefully my friend brings them today so I can try them out with my newly-acquired MEElec bi-flanges from the M9Ps.

I personally get the best sound with the M9 biflange when inserting them quite deeply, until its actually a little uncomfortable , pushing them with the tips pointing downwards & backwards inside my ears... The problem is, M9 biflanges have a slightly bigger stem opening than stock ones, so they dont grip as firmly on the nozzle and sometimes stay stuck inside my ears when taking the earpieces out! I then have to take the tips out of my ears with my fingers or twizzers! But you can probably do something (with tape around the pr1pro nozzle or something like that) to mod the nozzle or the tips for a better, more secure grip.
Note that without the deep insertion the sound is still good enough with M9 biflange (and better than with other tips for me), but not as full (mids and highs-wise) as with the deep/uncomfortable insertion.

I've been looking at a few chinese reviews and user impressions (via google translate) of the pr100 and pr200. According to what I've read, they both lag far behind the PR1 Pro in terms of SQ.

Well that's disappointing.

I just compared my PR1 Pro to some of my much, much higher end IEMs..
its scary how good the PR1 Pro is for its price..

Well, my PR100 and PR200 have landed. No time to do any serious listening tonight but I am using the PR100 right now and it's really not bad at all. After some burn-in I expect it to be at least as good as anything else on the market for the $30 it costs.

No, there most definitely isn't. Not only do they look exactly the same, but the PR200 sounds like the PR100 with added impedance so I'm quite sure that's exactly what it is. It's also spec'd at 55 ohms vs 16 ohms for the PR100. So the difference between them is likely the same as the difference between the original PR1 and PR1 Pro, not PR1 and PR2 (which are totally different headphones).

Any further initial impressions? Not that I can afford to buy them anyway

I'm letting them cook for 100 hours or so. Quite impressed with the $30 PR100. PR200 is a bit disappointing so far as it doesn't quite measure up to my aging PR1 Pro. Nevertheless I think they deserve a separate thread, which they will get as soon as I write up the review. Oh and when I said they look exactly the same, I wasn't kidding:

Is it possible to get a hold of the PR1 Pro for 50$ incl shipping somewhere online? (I've already posted a WTB here on the forum).

Edit: After browsing this thread I saw that a new revision/version is coming out, anyone know when?

I been wanting to try the PR100 and PR200 but the price which they sell puts me off as I doubt they will sound any good. Its locally selling in china for about 15 USD shipped (PR100) and 25$ for PR200

And yes pr100 and pr200 use the same case.

Another interesting IEM is Vsonic R04 PRo selling about approx 79 USD.

They look quite stylish and well built from the pictures.
Can you tell us anything about their sound signature?
