Glad they've worked out for you.  Does it end here or are you curious about others?

I need a dap to pair so keep on saving, my phone and clip+ don't pair it very good. Then I will look for something to use home for critical listening, something with extreme clarity and a bit bright instead of warm. SE5way is not completely warm either, it is somewhere in the middle between warm and bright. If -10 is warm and +10 is bright I would say their value is -1 or -2.

About pairing, I hear hiss when music is not playing but I plugged the iems in my devices like computer and Galaxy S2. When I play music, no hiss at all. Yeah I definitely need a nice dap to pair.

Congratz Amber. Jim's (lee) and mine are incoming very soon as well. I'm excited to hear what one of the best customs has to offer in terms of SQ. Hopefully this will seal the deal for me, keeping the 1plus2 / SE5 combo. Like lee, I don't have any future C/IEM purchases in mind. It seems these two will cover all the bases.

Thank you mate. I hope you and Lee will be at least as happy as I am now. I was planning to get 2 ciems for 1 on to go and 1 for home. On to go one is with me and I am totally satisfied. Comfort and isolation is top level as well as SQ and this SQ comes from s**t tier audio player. When I get something better, it will be indeed excellent.

Ok, hope it helps.

Thank you mate, it helps but it is still difficult to open for me, I end up hurting my fingers (maybe my fingers are so fragile?). I think, like Mim, I will end up buying a Pelican case 1010 or something.

I give you props for being brave enough to use them out in public lol. I just couldn't risk my life using a CIEM. Now in safe areas where you're surely away from cars and need some isolation, you'd be hard pressed to beat them.

Outside, I really need an isolation. My trip to university and coming back home is quite problematic, I spent too much time in the bus and the traffic noise, people talking around, engine noise ruin my music all the time. However I got what you mean, I will be extra careful while crossing a street and all.

I can see it being useful on such trips like the bus. But crossing the street with them or even using them where cars are is very risky. Just be careful. Thing is you never know what could happen. Someone could just clime the curb randomly and you won't hear it. :frowning2:

Haha. the method showed video doesn't work when the box is closed too tightly.
I had to use the same method but at the same time pushing the box to my **** area to use all my strength

Tupac would this included case be big enough to fit the SE5s without much hassle? I mean the 8As large case was already pushing it for me. Otherwise I won't be using the case at all.... I need to look into that nice Pelican 1010 case... Or whateva you call it :p.

The case is pretty good. It depends on how big your SE5s are. My friend's one fits in pretty tight. The box will squeeze the SE5 if his canals are a bit longer. So I would say the box is just about the right size (internally)

Oh god man what are you up to, I won't dare to use them outside

Yeah, sometimes doesn't matter how careful you are, if s**t has to happen, it happens. I will be careful as hell.

Funny that my girlfriend realized how they are isolating (I can't hear her when she talks to me in the same room) and she asked me, do you know that in a few weeks you will get an accident because of this extreme isolation? Well, I will do my best to avoid of course like everybody else.

About the case, after a few times opening and closing it seems a little bit better but I am still thinking about buying a Pelican case.

lol I'm just pointing it out man for your safety. If I didn't care I wouldn't say anything. I've been in some close calls myself and believe me my hearing and vision all played a roll in me walking away without injury. Can't say the same for my bikes though ....

Depending on how I angled the 8As they could also get squished in that larger case. Guess I better start shopping around for a case and a dryer.

Any recommendations for a reliable dryer that won't disintegrate the silicone? (Pamela Anderson beware!.

Well this one opens really easily, trust me :)
BTW. I do open the boxes the same way just using my knee to hold a box still and push slightly the other way
