Got my SE5, Gavin's and my wife's SE3. Will meet Gavin tomorrow. Quick listen as I am on vacation with family. Sound really interesting so far. Perfect build, fit and comfort. Crazy isolation. Very specific signature. Intimate, slightly warm, very detailed, but most of all very analog, liquid, musical. Like the Tera in CIEMs. So they pair nicely with AK100 stage 2, but even better with the Tera, made for each other. My wife says the Se3 are clear and with deep bass " coming from far" but not bloated.

And watch out how bass is dependent on different songs ~

Actually when I first heard SE5,I can't assign it to any sound signature apart from liquid and musical. It doesn't really have a strong signature

It pairs both dx100 and 901 extremely well, unlucky you have neither of them for now:p

Really want to try the Tera player.. But how can I survive with 128 g card full of songs :xf_eek:

I have several cards, probably wiser to split music than just squeezing every songs in a 128GB card.
A 4GB card to listen/get familiar to my new music, just enough for 2 albums. One 32GB favorite jazz music, usually play them in shuffle mode. And a 64GB one for any rock, metal that I like, mostly shuffle but some prog rock album I just play it straight forward. Navigation is not a problem, for me the biggest problem is no pause function especially when I'm listening to 10 minutes+ songs.
