Didn't somebody say these were sent to him already? I don't feel comfortable to send them to Korea. Not only does it take a long time but with insurance it also costs a lot.

I would have nothing from it. The SD2 & SD3 already have some very(!) knowledgeable guys backing it up over on hifi-forum.
I already wrote down my impressions, including A-B comparisons, sinus sweeps, etc. I stand by my word. Even though the SD3 is bass-heavy, it is extremely cohesive (a minor single peak at 3,6kHz) and technically stellar. Choose the SD2 instead and you have some of the cleanest mids and highs yet, unless you're bothered by some extra fullness at around 200 Hz. I'd like to see this verified by measurements, but I trust my ears enough to let you quote me.

I liked your review a lot. I think I even posted as much way back on the first pages(maybe? If not, here it is lol). But my point was that you're comparative laughing is kind of premature, not so much about you, personally, actually sending them over lol. He's not in Korea though lol.

No need, V. Carlsan owns both. He just got back from vacation and will be posting impressions soon.

Nice! Looking forward to it.

Sorry, that slipped out because I had a déjà vu when I got the UE900 and compared it to Heir 4.Ai, an IEM that has plenty fans on Head-Fi. I noticed the mid suction and described the mids as hollow and echo-y. I got a lot of crap for saying the UE900 performs better and is more cohesive... That is until measurements were posted.
It just reminded me of that.

I could give you a huge list. My father is a graduate engineer and he worked in military technology for Germany, USA and France. So I think Europe trusts in "German quality".

It's cool. Who hasn't that happened to? Lol
I just had a "sweet sweet vindication corroboration" moment in the RE600 thread after I initially said they sounded smoother and more laid back than the RE400 a while ago.

Ultrazino, when speaking of German quality German made condoms come to my mind, they are the best but only after Apfelstrudel and German porno :)

Seriously, i am in joking mood today :p

But if you want to know what perfect car means have a look at Aston Martin, Morgan, Maserati and if you want perpetual quality take Lexus.

Ouch! People are considering to buy this (http://rinchoi.blogspot.de/2013/07/aurisonics-asg-2.html) over the SD3? Haha.

Ouch, did rin ever post a review that not stated that the in which he not concluded that the messured IEM isn't total garbage?
The only thing he seems to like is the LCD3. Seems to be some kind of reborn messiah for him (there is nothing wrong with that)

Criticizing these IEMs only with this graph as you reference is a bit weak.

I bet it won't be that bad...it was well known that the earsonics sm64 fails in the german hifi forum, now check rinchoi's sm64 review.

Why did it fail? My review/impressions there were always positive. No idea why nobody cared for them.
Oh and after you checked out rins "review", go and look at jokers review.
He put them in 12th place of his overall ranking.

Everyone who has heard both the SD3 and ASG2 says the ASG2 excels in comparison.

everyone WHO? seems like battle of two IEMs but what is missing is battlefield. i can imagine people liking one over another since from description these two sound like different IEMs and might suit different tastes and ears. This not meant either of them is bad. I still willing to hear both, hopefully ASG comes soon into my hands.

What an eyeopener of a day it seems. Best not see the SD3 graph hey as the ASG2 beats it on all levels!

High Contrast via the SD3 at night with a smoke, doesn`t get much better than that. You may as well flat-line my graph

I was so close to purchasing the ASG2 after Eke`s report (even though I was skeptical). If they sounded anywhere near that graph I would have been deeply saddened as I have zero cash now due to life circumstances (for now).

Anyway SD3 users, get your ears around a good copy of High Contrast`s - Confidential album. Heaven but wish it was as hard hitting as Noisia (via the SD3 is jaw dropping)
