The cable on the HFI-580's is straight I believe correct?

Does anyone know how long it is? I know on some headphones it can stretch over 10 feet, and if it's that long I would need to do some soldering.

I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me how long the cable is thanks

If you knew then why did you ask?  o_O

FOR THE SECOND TIME, WHY DID YOU ASK IF YOU KNEW IT WAS STRAIGHT?  WAS IT A TEST?

Give you a tip which website you can find the info.  I'll give you the first half of the website address...  It is www.ultra

If you can figure out the second half then you'll be able to get your answer easily.  Good luck!

Hey so I know that the cable is listed as 1 meter with a 3 meter extension on Ultrasone.com, but on here:

http://www.headphone.com/headphones/ultrasone-hfi-780.php

It says their cable is 3 meters long.

I was planning on buying the headphones from here:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/547240-REG/Ultrasone_HFI_780_HFI_780_Closed_Back_Stereo_Headphones.html

Which doesn't list the cord length.

1 .Does anyone know if it's also 1 meter long, or should I contact their customer service? :)
2. Does the price $164.18 sound reasonable on bhphotovideo.com?  Because I've seen the prices around $250 on multiple other sites.
3. Are these real?  (Asking because of the price 164.18 vs. @ Amazon $249.99)
Thanks for any help.

yea I paid 160 for mine. I herd you can get the D2000 off B&H for about 180-190 if you call them.

no I got them from 32ohm, the HFI-60 only come in one cable size, about 15 feet. Not sure how that would translate into metrics in my current state of mind.

on many resellers, they post the cable in SPECS as 3 meters long, but in the description:

-FOR EXAMPLE::
http://www.headphone.com/headphones/ultrasone-hfi-780.php

-In specs, it says: 10 ft (3 m)

-In the What We Think section:
"The non-detachable HFi-780 headphone cord measures only 1 meter long [3 ft] as ideal for minimizng cord slack for short run situations. The included Ultrasone extension cord is 4 meters long, allowing the whole cable to extend about 15 feet, if needed; it's one of the longest 'stock' headphone cables provided by any manufacturer." - Headphone.com

-Also, on Ultrasone's website itself says:  "Straight cord (length ca 1m) / 3.5mm gold-plated plug incl. extension cord (ca 4m)"

1. So is the cable really 1 meter? or 3 meters? I don't see how they get 3 meters when the stock cable is 1 meter with a 4  meter extension (1+4 = 5 not 3)
2. Is the HFI-780 from headphone.com REAL?

PS: Planning on buying it from here:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/547240-REG/Ultrasone_HFI_780_HFI_780_Closed_Back_Stereo_Headphones.html
Hope all the 780's are 1 meter long...
