500+ Head-Fier
I havent tried it yet, but does anyone know off the top of their head whether or not the D1 outputs audio to both the headphone out AND the RCA pre-amp outs on the back at the same time?
My Audioengine D1 appears not to be working with my PC...
My D1 is connected to my PC running Windows 8.1 by USB and Optical. It's also connected to my Aktimate Micros.
Over the past couple of weeks I've been getting the occasional "Windows does not recognise this USB device" error message. Now it seems not to be working with the PC at all - either as a Headphone amp, or outputting to the speakers.
I have tested the speakers, and they're fine. The D1 works when I plug it into my Macbook Pro. I've tried a different USB cable - it works fine in the Mac, but not on the PC. I've tried a different USB port on the PC - to no avail.
So it's clearly some sort of compatibility issue with Windows 8.1. Anyone else out there experienced this? Grateful for any tips on how to resolve this..
Thanks.

Does anyone know if the D1 will work with the iPad Camera Connection Kit and powered hub?

I'm getting constant clipping on my Audioengine D1 when plugged into USB via a powered hub
This is the hub I use:

Any ideas on how to fix that? The supplied cable with the D1 is not long enough to reach my computer!
i have the D1 and now i am looking for a good pair of closed over ear headphones
