I still have to listen to a pair of Grados that I really love, but if those exist, I bet are those wonderful HP-2.

How do they sound? Noticeably different from the stock cord? Do they have mods other than balanced wire?

call me crazy - but I was happy to get Joes' last remaining "Joe Grado Signature ultlra-wide Bandwidth Reference Cable" put on mine last month

I felt the same way about Grados until I heard both an HP-1 and HP-2 at MOA. I now am an HP-2 owner. Unlike modern Grados (IMO), they are balanced and neutral. Even better, their rendition of high frequencies doesn't make my earls bleed!
