Heheh, if I had to bet, I'd place them in spot 4 or 5.

I would expect that... It seems that you prefer a more detail based sound signature, and the IE8's are really laid-back and warm. That's what I happen to prefer. I was pleasantly surprised to see how highly you place the Image X10.

Fun stuff as always.......

If we keep this as a voting poll instead of discussion thread, there shouldn't be any arguments on who's right and who's wrong.

Imho, after 300+hours, i dont feel IE8 laidback. At first, i actually hate the overall presentation. Feel like the need to listen at high volume. But once burned in, the sound actually feel less laidback. The warm sound is still there though.

Now i'm interested to try W3

In order to do that, IE8 might need to go to afford it.

Not that I see any arguments here: just a few online friends who are exchanging thoughts.

My roomate has the V-moda Vibes and mannn are those things muddy and bloated with bass. I can barely hear any highs and mids with them. He listens to mostly Hip Hop so I guess they are good for that type pf music. I'm a House/Deep House head so I need some clarity in my music with a nice thump in my bass!

Apparently, some folks are afraid to share their opinions on what they think of the sounds of certain phones and I was just saying that they shouldn't be as long as people stick to the context of this thread.
