I tried my friend’s m15 and didn’t notice any noise.

I have an M15 that I bought when it was first released. No hiss whatsoever when using SE cables on my CF Andromeda 2020. When I switch out to a balanced HP cable with the same IEMs, I do pick up some hiss. USB-C to Samsung S23 Ultra.

Stick to SE cables and am very happy with the M15

Depends on the IEM cable, I heard phone interferences a few times, but not the hiss described here. I had a pair of Yanyins which was sensitive, but I don’t recall a background hiss.

You have difficulties dealing with less then positive feedback, it seems. I owned one, tested 2 others…same story. You really think it is a coincidence that Questyle explicitly mentioned reduction of noise by 80% in their 18-series press release?

Well, I didn’t experience what you experienced in terms of a constant background noise. That’s all.

That would be quite a feat. Appears to be half the size of my current Xduoo XD05 bal which is 1 watt. Exciting times ahead.

I reached out to Questyle regarding the power output of the CMA18 and this was the reply I received: "The balanced output has a power of over 500mW. The single ended output is 170mW".
