Pretty sure these are the old IEMs made for the Qudelix 5k. New ones should be up for grabs this month.

You are right. I just didn't recall seeing that IEM before and it doesn't help that the listing says "new" on it. Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up!

Does anyone know how many miliwatt the Qudelix-T71 can put into its balanced-Output [300ohm] load (HD 800) at 8Vrms? Plugged in vs straight batt.

That number would be very interesting. I'm asking Fiio for the KA17 output without desktop mode on. I like portable items. We have the q15 numbers already

Got the Qudelix T71, fiio KA15, and the Fiio Q15 to compare and select one, or two at tops (not likely to keep two, but could potentially happen.)

It's worth noting that is more vrms than the q15 or ka15, both in desktop mode. Maybe HD 800 likes that? Don't really know yet, I'd have to check on HDVD 800 and see how many Vrms Sennheiser or others have recommended for HD 800. Something tells me I've read 6.5 to 7.5 somewhere... but I honestly think that is wrong.

I have the HD800s and use It almost everyday with the T71. I can assure you that you can get it to defeaning levels with the 4 volts mode, let alone the 8V one.

Hello to all T71 owners,
could you please confirm that it is possible to select settings for personal PEQ profiles and filters directly from the device using the four buttons? On the screenshots provided from Qudelix only the preinstalled "treble booster" profile is shown.
For those who switch between 2-3 sets of headphones regularly it would be fantastic. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to use Chromium and install extensions everywhere.
Cheers!

You can switch between EQ profiles on the T71, but the profiles must be created the Chrome app. Hopefully, we will be able to do it on Android soon too.

Long time since I visited the thread.

Today, I went to the post office in my city to pick up the Dignis case (NOX) for the T71 that I had ordered since mid-December (unfortunately, Dignis sent it via EMS instead of UPS like when I ordered their Libra case for the 5K, so it fell into the hands of the atrocious Mexican postal service). It wouldn't have been a big issue if it weren't for the $30 the case cost, plus ANOTHER $30 for shipping...

Anyway, the quality of the leather is very good, although I'm not a fan of the striations on my charcoal color unit (it's all quite artisanal and random), but the fit is perfect and it more than fulfills the purpose of protecting it.

It also includes three screen protectors and other protectors for the front I/O, but I decided not to apply them (since I always keep my T71 in a drawer and don't need that much protection for the desktop use I give it).

Here are some pics and comparison with the Dignis Libra for the Qudelix-5K:

Well, I am now a proud owner of the QX-Over, thanks to my "I must buy this before it sells out" reflex taking over before realizing what it was(I tried to cancel but was too late...oh well, no biggie). That dual-connector really threw me off - they don't even show that in the pictures lol. The QX-Over(what an awkward name btw) connection is even shown on the T71 display, as you can see in the pic. It's a very bassy and spacious v-shape.

Also, I attached a pic of the upcoming T71 IEM which is apparently now expected in late February. MEST MK1 vibes.

I'm sure some of you saw this already, but here's a bit more info about the upcoming T71 IEM. The price translates to about $187(US), and it has been delayed yet again until early next month. link

"Specifications, Features: 3BA(Sonion)+ 1DD graphene driver
These earphones are dedicated to the T71 and do not have a crossover network inside the earphones.
It is manufactured with a C-type connector using a specially designed cable.
You can enjoy music and movies in real 7.1ch, and we plan to release various presets in the future."

Here is a product page with more info

It isn't going to work with other USB C devices like your phone and whatnot, which is actually very disappointing.
