Randy McStine (touring Porcupine Tree guitarist) dropped her name in a PROG mag interview. Great bassist.

The new live RPWL album has dropped over here in Europe, not sure about the US - listening to it on Qobuz

Came across this fascinating little prog collective, The Chronicles of Father Robin and the album is called The Songs & Tales of Airoea: Book 1 (2 & 3 are also available). They are Norwegian and are made up from the vocalist and keyboard player from Wobbler and various other musicians from TUSMØRKE, JORDSJØ and the interestingly named The Samuel Jackson Five. Available on Qobuz and Bandcamp, though their prices are not as good as some others.

Thanks to a recommend from @Matchi I found out Airbag has an acoustic set out since 2021. I'm a bit confused though, Airbag are definitely a prog inspired band but is it still prog if it's mostly just two guitars and a voice? Same songs but different delivery, hmmmm, the jury is out on this.

One to watch, the Norwegian band, :confused:cause there's an Argentinian band named likewise.
Their new album should be out soon, if not already (the track Erase is from this one)

I'm currently listening to the latest Parium album, and honestly, it's one of the best things I've heard in the last couple of years!

I gave it a quick spin, intending to listen to the first track or two and ended up listening to the whole album. The deep story telling reminds me of Coheed & Cambria, which is no bad thing.

I liked the Cygnus X-1 inspired lyrics.

From an ad in new issue of Prog. I liked his previous work on line so I picked this up from his website.

Finally got round to giving this a good listen and I am so glad I did, it's amazing. It's not just her astonishing bass playing, she's also helped out by the likes of Guthrie Govan and Bumblefoot (Ron Thal) on guitar and Marco Minnemann on drums, it's quite an album.:darthsmile:

Been on a roon safari tonight and found Rendezvous Point, a melodic prog-metal band from Norway. Currently listening to their second album called Universal Chaos and really enjoying it.
