Been reading old posts for easy DIY low dollar mods. Power cables are something I can make for modest cost. Jude has talked about power cables and a FERRITE LOOP. What is a ferrite loop? Is it something I can DIY? Is it a worth while project?

You can find Ferrites pretty easily at Radioshack or somewhere else...

Check out the following Link on Head-Fi. I buy my split ferrite cores from digikey as they are a lot cheaper than RatShack.

Power cords may benefit a clip-on ferrite loop. Very low buck and easy, Cool!
