So, a bit of an odd question I know, but I'm building a lamp and would like to mount a potentiometer/rheostat so I can adjust the brightness directly on the lamp. I know there are a million dimmers that can be installed on the wall or in-line with the cord, but I want something I can mount on the unit itself. Any ideas or suggestions for a part?

Thanks!

I did find this, but it's a bit large and awkward:
