Nice stack.

The other day whilst at work, a colleague told me my rig looked like a house brick - DIYmod 5th gen > TTVJ Slim. How little he knows.... Does this fit in your pocket ;D

Nice set up. But, may I suggest a low profile LOD? That one is quite pokey outey

I actually quite like it a bit because I can move the iPod around when I take the rubber bands off. Also, I can just wrap the LOD cable around twice, which creates a circle.

Here is my friend today in class listening to my transportable rig. She says it sounds absolutely fantastic, as do all my other friends.

Can someone educate me on what all this stuff is and does? Is it triple amping and is it less than ideal? I believe the sr71 is a great rsa amp... Is the cypher a USB DAC? iPods dac is bypassed somehow?

The CLAS is just being used as a transport.  It bypasses the ipod's DAC, goes to a balanced DAC via coax, and then the balanced amp.

Thats a good point man. Had not thought of that. I never seem to seperate my gear so its low pro all the way for me.

The portable rig goes transportable. Pair of Westone 4Rs and Sennheiser HD25-1 11 on their way for a try too.
