No, really... What headphones do you own, and where would you place those on a scale from 1 to 10?

i think a flat rating is not quite enough to describe a particular headphone. maybe include a few brief words to its upper, mid, and bass characteristics, and also the type of music that the person likes to listen to with those phones. personally i'm always interested in hearing about a model's bass capabilities and comfort level

Just give it a 1-10 rating of how much you like the phone "overall".

I don't care if I get them back.

Why I gave the KSC-35's an 8: the question is how much you like your 'phones overall, so I factored "bank for the buck" into the equation. They don't sound anywhere near as good as the Ety's, but they are 1/14th of the price

DON'T I WISH!!!! They were Hirsch's, and I had the awesome priviledge of being in MD at my parent's house near Hirsch, so he was nice enough to set-up a lot of his equipment for us to audition.
