I just went to feed my neighbours' cat and these were on the kitchen side. I nearly puked.

It's the branding that's the issue here. I doubt anyone outside Britain would quite "get" the sociocultural cache of the Tesco Value range.

Biggest supermarket chain in the UK. One in every £3 spent on groceries is spent in Tesco. Think Walmart.

I lived on Tesco blue label bread & beans when I was at uni. Sigh, 7p for a tin of beans, those were the days. However, these "lightweight design" "in-ear headphones" are the fruits of the devil and must be stopped, at any cost.

And Tesco offer Tesco Value Goods - Example;

Canned Heinz Beans = 55pence

Canned Tesco Value Beans = 8pence
