The website has only one version older than the one the dap came with.
Hope they start updating it and add English

That is what I hope too. The fact that some of you guys manage to get a hold of the beta firmware is quite reassuring though considering L5 was only launched just a few weeks ago.

My L5 does no artwork, nor does it change play order and built q is ok but not great, i think i will send it back.
Sound is up there with anything up to Paw and AK240, but nothing to shout home about.
It is a tough sell despite the not bad price, but is a very mediocre presentation in general with serious bugs and no proper website.
Can not recommend, i am sorry.

Can you elaborate a little regards the build quality and UI, what are you comparing it to?

Saw these interior photos of LP5 from the chat group, just want to share with you guys. I don't really understand the circuit stuff, but it looks pretty sick.

The Chinese can create marvelous sound. Now they can make excellent looking device. They make cheap handphones with gorgeous screen and usability. Why can't they put all these together in a DAP?

As you can clearly see by the sockets (6,3 mm jack is conspicuously present) and the DAC chip model (AK4414EQ) these are the internals of a barrel-shaped LP5, not L5. As L5 has another arrangement of elements and another DAC (AK4490EQ)

I presume, there is not much of a difference between L5 and LP5 elements: all the proprietary chips by Luxury&Precision (1812 C/M/O/P) whatever they are, are implemented in both DAPs. L5's distinctive features are AKM 4490EQ DAC a couple of TCXO (not sure if these are implemented in LP5) and a new case with a new screen. The matter is in implementation

The 32G version is selling around $750 in China.

How do I order it because website is in Chinese and I can understand it?

I ordered mine from Penonaudio: http://penonaudio.com/Luxury-Precision-L5
It is out of stock right now but you can write to them to ask when the next batch is available. Where are you located, if you don't mind?
