On Topic:

I'm in.
en480c4 is in
Hopstretch is in.
drp is in.

The Salted one is waffling.

Voodoo is out, unfortunately.

Updated with Salted Waffles.

We're up to 50 plus 5 maybes. It looks like everyone who wants to attend as chimed in for the most part, so I think we're safe. If I get too many more though I may have to create a waiting list.

Aaron's crazy. Your rack was great!

BrownieLady's rack is great!
Nate's rack was decent.
The "old lady walker rack with dampening" was best!

I'll trust you about Brownie Lady's rack, and just hope she makes me a rack of those brownies! With frosting.

Is it going to be cold? I haven't been in the cold for a couple of years now other than the mistake of a trip I made last December to drive my motorhome from Idaho to Illinois in a blizzard on December 24-26 while every sensible person in the World was busy having fun. It reminded me about how much I hate winter, which I now define as anything under 70 degrees.

Last time I came to NY for a November meet, I showed up in shorts and a t-shirt and literally had no jeans or jackets or anything suitable for the weather. I kind of paid for that mistake, as I recall.

One guy was literally using a walker for a rack. I think there are pics in the meet thread, I'll go digging later.

And mine is looking a bit more finished these days.

That's one way to walk around with a large portable rig.

Considering the average temperature in NY for November is about 47 degrees, by your standards I can almost guarantee you it will be winter when you get here. Bring a jacket this time, will ya?

Funny. I stood next to that for several hours and never realized it was a walker.

...and, for the record, I told Nate that I loved his rack. Almost bought it from him, but had no where to put it in a 2 bedroom city apartment.

Also, it was Igor, master of silver cable-ry.

The second shelf from the top is "dampened" by mini bungees.
He actually bought it from an old lady estate sale, because before I got the second room secured, I asked him not to take up as much room as he did in Harrison, last Fall. He did a wonderful job of fulfilling my request, no? Genius.

It's cold now, dude. It was in the 40's recently and is staying in the 50's. We are staying at 10° below normal since August.

Yeah, I remember you complaining about shrinkage. It wasn't important then, but it is, now!

I took the day off work so it's PRETTY definite. my mom is in and out of the hospital so I'm not good at committing to things too far out but it's LOOKING like I will be there right now.
