Yes, on the padsApollo really piqued my interest, especially wit boom mic + anc. I recently bought the tws fokus prestige but gave up using as it is picking up too much background noise for calls. Hope Apollo helps as I would like good SQ but able to make zoom calls.
Btw is the ear pad detachable for easy replacement? It will be a plus selling point.

I really love the fact that the Appllos has a boom mic...makes it much more usable in more scenarios like gaming and video meetings! Yes, you can take a quick call with most BT-phones, but a boom mic is needed for any serious scenario. Also LDAC codec for folks with a Samsung phone!
What almost always is a deal breaker for me when it comes to BT-phones is the fact that most have such small ear pads, both in width/height, but also depth....Do we have any inner measurements for the Apollos?

I just got my Fokus Prestige yesterday and I’m really digging it. The stock tuning has too much midbass for my taste, but the proprietary app solved that in a matter of seconds. Great instrument separation and very coherent. Sub bass is really amazing and very clean. It is not the most detailed thing I’ve ever heard, but for the price and considering it’s wireless (and so far, I’ve only paired it with the standard iPhone 15, that doesn’t have the best codecs) it does really well.

The stock tuning subbass was great for me, but then I tried a modern r&b track and felt the need to bump it down -1 as well.I like to bump up the subbass and maybe drop the midbass by -1.
Took me forever but I finally found a perfect fit by using the Fidelity U eartips. I can get a deep enough insertion that they feel semi-custom at this point.
May I ask what your source is?Hey, was wondering if you guys could help me choose between the Kublai Khan and Ronin? The only how Noble IEM I’ve had was K10 which I loved but haven’t heard in a while. My favourite IEM is UM Mest MK2 and potentially looking for a kind of upgrade to that. Think I like U or W shaped signatures.
I listen to 30% indie folk acoustic (lots of string instruments and vocals), 20% metal (particularly symphonic, gothic, and folk), 20% orchestral soundtracks and score, 10% alternative rock, 10% pop, and 10% electronic.
I care about a lot of texture, clarity, and detail – particularly in the mids. Don’t like too thick a sound. I like fast impactful deep bass. Separation and layering are extremely important to me. I love the holographic feel of the MEST. I don’t like large airy soundstages where things feel far away, I want to feel like I’m on stage performing intimately with the musicians but still feels 3D. I really care about PRAT and dynamics. I really want to feel engaged and involved with the music, feeling the emotions and energy. I’m looking for something that performs well across all genres.
And would you think either of these is a significant upgrade over MEST MK2 to warrant price? I know MEST is great for value. I lean KK because I’ve heard it’s like an upgrade to MEST but then I keep hearing how good Ronin mids are.
I can give a few songs I use in listening sessions and what I look for in them. I mostly use Shangling M6 Pro 21 as a source if anyone recommends good pair up synergy too.
