Regarding the new Apollos, will it support usb power passthrough? Meaning that the internal battery will get bypassed when its hooked up to a USB source?

The answer I recieved is:

I have the Ragnar and I heard a Viking this past CanJam in Singapore belonging to @HiFiHawaii808. A/B'd both and to my ears, the Viking sounds more refined especially in the treble. It sounds slightly etched on the Ragnar for me. If you have no issues with the treble on the Ragnar, I believe @Frankie D is right. It sounds very close.

The other mind-blowing moment for me is when I tried a rare and expensive cable the Nightjar Sovereign Symphony 8W cable on the ragnar. It was a night and day experience for me. It elevated the Ragnar significantly. Refined the treble and added weight to the mids and bass. Currently, the Ragnar is my third or fourth favourite iem. With the SS 8W, it would be my no. 1. It is that good but, I could not live with the ergo. Much too thick!

I believe you. For a TOTL IEM I do feel a matching cable makes a helluva difference. I have to hear this combination sometime.

It's a case by case situation

Model, extent of damage etc influence the price.

I'm going to dig further on this feature and make sure it is part of the functionality.

It was on the goal list, but some of the goals had to be foregone due to time constraints.

But we did nail down the sound quality

Thanks so much for checking into this. Totally understand about the design and implementation process and how some goals may change along the way towards getting a product finalized and ready to actually ship.

As a total and unrelated aside - I had mulled over getting a pair of Fokus Prestige for a while and finally pulled the trigger. They are fantastic and have not disappointed at all. Without question my favorite TWS. Fantastic bass, they play louder than anything else I've tried, have much more rock solid connectivity than the original Fokus Pro and the ambient mode has been a useful addition when using them out and about.

Contact Noble directly and they will take good care of you. I had my custom Encore repaired in 2022. One faceplate had to be reattached and a small chip fixed. The cost was $120.00 and they came back beautiful.

Noble has my Ragnars right now to repair one of the screens. So far the process has been strait forward and simple. I'll let you know how they turn out.

Has anyone had problems with their FoKus Prestige case lid being loose? If the case is closed, the lid will click back and forth, and has a little wiggle when opened. I definitely do not use and abuse the case at all. Wondering if this was normal?

Mine is new and hasn't been opened/closed a ton of times but there is a bit of play in the hinges such that when closed I can slightly slide the top just a bit back and forth. But that feels like it's by design of the hinge. I could see how over time though that bit of play might become loose.

Fokus Prestige question - Noble doesn't sell the USB C extender adapter as an accessory, so I assume it may only be eplaceable then via a support request. Alternatively has anyone gotten one like it form Amazon and verified that it is long enough and works on the Prestige case? Just thought it would be a good idea to have a backup since it's an unusual adapter.
