Here are some pictures of the 5th set of wizard katanas made. They look very very nice for some reason I couldn’t post the pictures. I’m using the same via safari on an iphone.

Just received my notice that my Wizard Reprint Encores are ready for shipment!
FYI - I sent my impressions on 11/29, they were received at the office on 12/4, and received by the lab on 12/24. It may have taken longer than usual due to the holidays and my own indecision with the reprint design. I had originally wanted the opalescent designs, but the lab was unfortunately out of the required materials. That said I'm very happy with the turnaround time and the results of the other design I chose! True works of art.

What an amazing design It looks like the moon shining (nice 'glow in the dark' touch in the last pic) through (notyour)trees.

Btw, just like some designs that I noticed on the former page, I have to admit that (after all these years on HF) some of the Wizard designs are still the best looking ones around imo.

Quick take, for rock music mostly, from 90's alternative era to classic rock, and pop, some 90's and new rap, Katana or Encore?

Just got my custom encores, have them in right now. First impression: Holy cow, the resoution and clarity blows my jh16 fp out of the water. It's slightly brighter too, and the pianos sound so much better. Soundstage about the same, maybe slightly larger than the jh16's. Bass slam not nearly as powerful as the jh16 but its definitely just as deep (about 6db less bass than jh16). Good thing I decided to get encores and not katanas, I can't imagine encores with less bass.

Awesome to hear! That was my impression when I was able to demo the Encore universals against my JH16FPs. Definitely preferred the stronger bass presence over the Katanas, but I hope to acquire those someday too as a counterpoint. You've made me even more excited to get my own Encores soon (if that's possible)!
