When I select the foo_out_wasapi.dll in foobar, no other program are capable of playing sound. Why is that? any solution? Its anoying swiching the output back and forth..

Uhm.. by selecting WASAPI, you are supposed to be disabling all other sounds, that's the ONLY reason you want to do this! It's so that there is no mixing and you get proper bit-perfect output. If you don't want that, just use DirectSound.

Or you could use ASIO (if your soundcard supports it) and still bypass kmixer in Windows when using foobar but still be able to have other sounds using directsound. Disabling all other sounds is specific to wasapi only.
