I own a Galaxy S4 and would like to transform it into a DIY DAP.
Right now I coupled it with a Fiio E18 for try-out.
The E18 is limited to 96kHz, will a 192 kHz DAC bring an audible difference?
I now wonder if there are any other possibile solutions which work with the Galaxy S4.
What would be the nicest player app for mainly .flac files? Will 192k .flac files be automatically downsamplesd?
Are 192k files natively supported at al by Android 4.3 and the Galaxy S4?
What would be a nicer DAC/Amp that supports 192k, at a fair price at max. $50 more than the E18.
