Just look at the artists here:

or here:

Or you could look at the top new age artists, tagged piano on last.fm, or reverse.

Well, I  like to listen some new age piano compilation, mixed with nature sound, called Romantic Of Nature.
It's not top performers, but  it's relaxing. There's one artist that stand out a bit more than others on the compilation , it's kenio fuke:

David arkenstone does also nature / piano mixing, in its serie called "natural wonders".

There's also dan's gibson,  with the popular album "forest piano".

Sorry, but I  just find it more relaxing than plain piano

Check out Isaac Shepard :)

Very nice. Thank you! Please recommend some more artists (I noticed that you are a Radio DJ and have a similar music preference as mine). Feel free to check out my artist list in my Headfi profile or post a message there. Cheers

@ Happy Camper
Keiko Matsui produces both Jazz and New Age works (although leaning more towards Jazz). Thanks for mentioning her. I heard of her works before, as she has been mentioned a few times in other piano-related threads here.

@ extrabgmehdi
Yiruma is of a similar style, but with less repetition and more complexity/melody.

I would definitely put her more in the New Age genre myself, but however you classify her, she is a tremendous talent (and puts on a great concert too).

No problem, and yes, there are similarities in our music taste :)
I already checked the artists from your profile before, thanks for the hint.

So, other piano recommendations that I didn't already find in your profile:
Josh Kramer, Brian Crain, Ryan Cohen, Akira Kosemura and of course, I can't forget to recommend a fellow countryman, Arvo Pärt.
But yeah, the term "new age" is used very loosely with those artists.

As there are music similarities in our taste, I would also recommend to check out a page of mixes.
Some examples to start with that contain piano: http://www.mixcloud.com/potereinfinito/episode-12-something-has-changed-291010/
and http://www.mixcloud.com/potereinfinito/episode-16-aerial-141110/

Those artists and the whole profile there should keep you busy the whole year, heh.

Thanks quietstorm! I like your recommendations.

It looks like Brian Crain is quite established and popular. Josh Kramer and Akira Kosemura seem to be young and promising musicians. Arvo Pärt is more of a modern classical composer (I think I heard him before but could not remember).

Your ambient / minimalistic -sounding mixes are interesting to listen to.

That's good to hear :)

Regarding Arvo, I should have linked only the piano songs because yes, he is a modern classical guy and he has a lot of work that doesn't contain "piano-only" songs.
Famous piano examples:
