Just wanted to follow-up on the thread.
I've now had the PM-3's for a few weeks and got acquainted to them.
It's really a great headphone!
The sound is very well balanced. They actually reminds me a lot of the HD 650. The bass is slightly more punchy but in no way exaggerated (this was one aspect of the PM-3 that improved greatly with burn-in).
They have a roll-off similar to the HD 650's which I initially tried to avoid, but in reality is not really bothering me, most likely due to being familiar with it from the 650's.
All in all I'm very happy with the purchase and will definitely recommend this to other people.
