Dan, I have the mad dogs and will be purchasing the alpha dogs in addition. My question is, can I purchase just the black sliders for the mad dogs?  Or send it to you for installation?

Boy...  the black sliders will look cool with the mad dogs....

Lol, yeah, cups affect SQ, so Dan would have to redo all his tuning if he were to use Carbon Fiber. But, hey, I like the carbon fiber look. :D

You could just do it with hydrographics...

Or than again you could just put em on your head and listen to music instead of admiring yoursleves in the mirror. Just saying.

Headphones as sound reproduction devices and NOT fashion accessories? That's crazy talk man!

What's wrong with also wanting to enjoy them as a piece of art? Clearly, there are many people on here who have been quite vocal about the Alpha Dog's look, quite positively in fact.

Fact is, people do buy things not just for functionality, but also aesthetics.

Look at the world of high-end speakers.  There's clearly an aesthetic drive in those.  I know people hate it when I say it but this hobby is just as much if not more about the hardware than the music.

I'd say headphones offer a more introverted experience. You don't have to look at them as much as you look at your speakers :)
