Interesting... Can't wait to hear some reviews on the M1060's when they're released.

Huh, interesting.  Just saw a post about this on Gizmodo.  I'm amused the 560 is using a similar design as the Edition S with magnetic covers for open/closed conversion.  http://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/monoprice-announces-monolith-series-cedia-2016/#ixzz4KL0LHg4o has a video so you can get a little look at them both.

Unfortunately the video gave no impressions on the sound whatsoever, just showed the removable covers for the 560 and the design for both.  I'm quite tempted to give one of them a try, and maybe the amp that was shown in that video as well, which assuming I'm remembering correctly is a $140 tube 24/96 dac/amp.

I'd love to hear some early thoughts on the SQ and build from someone who made the purchase...

Just with regard to the video :

The 1060 looks REALLY light in his hands... the way it jittered about in his hands like it has no heft... this suggests to me a light, maybe 1-sided magnet... or just an empty display model ^_^

Well, according to monoprice they're 500 grams!

Must be an empty shell then.
That's the same weight as the HE-500, and he's definitely not holding it like it's half a kilo of pure headphone. Oh well.
