I have $250 to spend towards an amp.
 
Can you guys give me a list of like three solid state and 3 tube amps at this price range.....it will help me narrow down my search....would really like a list of three each.
 
I listen to mostly rock and classic rock, my main headphone would be an RS1i, but will also be using other phones.

Don't buy anything from Maverick.  It's junk and they have no customer service.  Learn from my mistake.

I considered a Dac from Mav audio in the past, but lost my interest.

You could do a lot worse than to get a Little Dot Mk1+, they seem to work particularly well with Grado's. I got one coming but I just ordered it yesterday so it's going to be a while.

I have the Rs1, and my Meier Audio Quickstep does an excellent job at driving them!

I have thought about little dot amps.....just was not sure if a tube amp in that price range was actually worth it or not....I figured I would need to spend way more.
 
Would these amp the AKG  Q701 just fine also.
