List 3 of your cans, but which will you never part with!

In this hobby, the saying "never say never'"applies, BIG TIME. As is apparent by a post I already made elsewhere in this very thread. It is interesting to see that back then my list had the K1000s and RS-1s on it, so at least I am fairly consistent...

But just for fun I'll play along (again):

1) AKG K1000.
2) AKG K1000 (when I eventually get a second pair).
3) Either PS-1 or RS-1 : soon to be determined.

and since then, if i may point it out, you sold your rs-1s for gs-1s, then decided that you prefer the rs-1s, sold off the gs-1s and repurchased the rs-1s (the only phone you've ever repurchased, iirc). the more things change, the more they stay the same. thanks for being a good sport and playing along Larry.
as for myself, i'm still trying to figure this out.....

1) Koss PortaPro (they are 22 years old and still sound good)
2) Senn HD595 (my first "high-end" cans)
3) not sure yet... thinking strongly about the Westone UM2...

*K501

I'd say *HD580 but then it might find itself being cheated on by the 600...

*K1000 (whenever I get one; whenever the dumb price of the month fixing cycles stop. 1300 seems popular these days...)

Pretty simple...

Out of what I own the Omega IIs are the only ones I'd never sell unless I could get something that was an across the board upgrade. I'd be reluctant with the SR-X Mk3 but with the O2s around I'd survive without them. I'd also like a good pair of IEMs at all times and for now it's the E500s filling that role but it could just easily be a UE10 or any other top tier IEM.

Have been eyeing up my HD595s and SR-80s for potential sale, they're just not good enough IMHO and are collecting dust.

Ok; as of RIGHT NOW, and since it doesn't look like much is going to change for a long while if at all, and since it looks like only two cans are the allowable limit, then I'd have to go with(in alphabetical order)my MS2i and my HD600s.

But hey! That's not too bad! I'm very fond of them both and as a complimentary pair they're a great set!
