Headphones I'm very fond of but sold for one reason or another include:
Sony MDR-R10 (really awesome, but hard to justify the huge cost
)
Grado HP-2 (beautiful looking and sounding - bought and sold twice - hard to let go each time!)
Sennheiser HD650 - I've heard it scale pretty well with amplification (specifically purk's upgraded SDS). A great value at its price. Still curious as to whether there's magic to be found with the right amp....
