I want to buy a V10 with the purpose of being both my portable and main music player
From your experience with past flagships, will the price drop more than 440 EUR in Europe until December?

Also there are 2 versions that I can buy:
- H962, 64GB, dual sim
- H960A, 32GB, single sim
Any tips / differences between the two?

I have the H960a which has the ability to unlock the bootloader and root the device in marshmallow. Rooting allows the use of the Alsa mixer app or editing the mixer paths file to trigger the amp into higher gain mode with out tricking the phone with adapters etc. There's lots of info earlier in this thread and on the XDA developers forum about this topic.

Yes I saw that after posting, they almost tricked me, but then I realized there are no headphones measurements, and I found the other site.

Another great feature is high resolution direct through the high res chipset.

The EQ in UAPP works brilliantly,(it's been there for a while now) it has a gain control to manually control the gain to reduce any possibility of clipping.(with clipping light, so you know to back it off)

But the EQ seems to not change the sound for the worse like some do.

There's actually a parametric EQ as an extra option that you can buy, and there's also a trial of this. But like I said the stock EQ rocks.
And upsampleing seems to add a better quality sound some how when active in settings. Probably at the end expense of battery time.

With native DSD capabilities to boot as well. Goto love this app.

I use android variable rate when using UAPP with bit perfect checked. When it's playing it shows for example android: 88200hz file: 88200hz so I'm assuming no resampling is taking place.

most the times when i try get tidal to work with UAPP i get a error message. i try log on to tidal through UAPP, but i get a unauthorised error message. Do anyone know why this happens?

See if it recognizes one is inserted, possible you need to format, but if the card works on other devices and it doesn't give you the option to format the card when inserted in the storage part of system settings, you would probably want to make sure the v10 doesnt have a bad sd slot.

connected to computer, but cant see internal memory nor sd card. Computer says its connected but cant see either memory on the phone through the computer.

unlock the phone, swipe down the notifications menu. if you see "USB Charging" in the list of notification items, click it, and then you can choose "File Transfer" mode, im betting this is what you are seeing?

Did you have any luck? that should be the one (MTP).  I can not remember if I had to install drivers on my laptop for it to work or if it just did.
