To that I'd also add regular upkeep costs of a legal audio business (office rent, taxes, bookeeping, employee salary etc.). These days that alone really is a lot and product price is calculated to cover these payments too.

Which begs the question, how do you make a living out of the AIR series at 99€ with 20% VAT and reseller markup included? Schitt sell directly so that saves them all the shipment/reseller parts but Burson allow them to make 50% markup, which explains their pricing.

Rather, it's years of being in the business, having our very own factory, supporting our customers, having a worldwide distribution network, having the same highly skilled crew and building our reputation one product at a time. If you do it long enough, you'll get there

On a side note, I'm familiar with the stereotype you're referring to, but not every company fits it

An aliexpress LPS works well for clean power without breaking hte bank.
