I've been using this horrible, thin lead from my Ipod line out to my amplifier. The one I have is a Zip-linQ. Thin and nasty.

Those little ipod radios that attach to the bottom work but they have a volume control in the way and flat out, don't give as much volume as a straight connection so they must affect the sound with yet another volume control in the way.

Are there any other leads (preferably that don't wind up like the Zip-linQ) that are better quality? Ipod line out connection at one end and a stereo mini jack at the other end?

I don't want a docking station - just a lead.

If you want something less than $30, this is the best that I have found.

SiK Ram Din

It comes in white or black. You can either cut off the firewire port or just ignore it.

Get someone from here (a known DIYer) to make you one to your exact specifications, and avoid high end manufacturers like ALO and Qables (very high prices).

I've had two made by stevenkelby and been very pleased with his work. Other known makers include barqy, TURBO, Punnisher and some others.
