Considering picking up an M30 Plus but I have a question, for the on-board Android apps do these have to be updated via Shanling through firmware or can you update them yourself in any way?

Thanks!
@Shanling can give the definitive answer. But from past experience it is by way of firmware only. :)

665 model, firmware still from factory.
Is there any firmware update for this model ?
665 so far had no firmware update.

I found out we have no chargers for M30 in the office, so I can't test it right now :frowning2: I will report it to engineers to check on this.

Please also report about battery drains in this model
It's quite bad. I left it idle overnight & it drop 25%
Ok, so for the charging:

When you set the charging %, you should have the charger already connected. Once it chargers to 100%, it will turn off charging and only start charging when it reaches the set %.

If you disconnect and reconnect charger, it will start charging until it reaches 100%. Then it will follow the set % for charging.

Battery drain, is this brand new M30 Pro or just old M30 with new 665 module?
Do you see any battery drain if powered off?

Oh I see. I plug my charger when battery at 90%

Mine is old M30 with new 665 module & A2 amp
No drain when power off. Also already try change to a new battery

Yeah… I leave mine just plugged into power. And the recharging at the set percentage works nicely. :)

I suspect all the android processes and wifi are still draining the battery even if you just leave the M30 idle. I just switch off when I am done with the M30. :)
