If you could choose only one - L3000 or PS-1?

Wow, this is an old thread! I voted way back when, and suspect that I voted for the L3000. It would be a tough call, but I like their amazing PRaT even more than I like the bass goodness of the PS-1.

Whoa green is rarer? What edition is the green one? It's bizarre that there is an ultra rare edition of an already heavily limited headphone.

I wouldn’t call flabby bass and stuffiness "quality".

Anyway I voted L3000 because I'm more in favor in Audio-Technica atm

Pace, rhythm and timing. The L3000 have an uncanny ability to get me 'into' the music in a toe tapping sense because they convey these dimensions so well.

has to be L3000!

ignoring sound quality, L3000 is a more comfortable headphone to me.

I'd like to bump this thread.

After more than a month scouring the web for reviews, impressions and critiques I'd say:
ATH-L3000 > Grado PS-1

Since both have things that I like and both can make certain recordings a joy to listen, I can't vote for either ot them. Maybe today I'd get the L3000 and tomorrow the PS-1. It's great when you can keep both
