Can you take a pic of the driver?Definitely not grainy...I donāt find them doing anything uncomfortable with the highs.
I definitely need more time. I left them on autopilot with LED Zep for a while to continue to loosen. But already these best anything so far out of the box

I think Iām going to eventually balance them with OCC silver and see what happens. But the stock SE is a quality SPC(silver plated copper) and way better than any cable anyone is giving with their phones sub $2k or even more, with the exception of Audeze That offers a phenomenal cable with their LCD 4 an LCDZ.
And before I do anything with the cable I really want to break them in.

I thought they broke up and were not going to record or tour any more?High Noon at High Noon taking out the Led
Youāre in the studio. I can see them behind the glass recording this.
All kidding aside, please do take your time in gathering and forming your impressions. Sometimes it can take a few weeks to become aware of any faults or irregularities in new gear.

It is a really phenomenal headphone.
I put on some CD source today.
Quick, fast, punchy tight bass

Got them, love them
Need some time to understand them better, but so far it beats the LCD-2C in overall detail, clarity and speed. Even treble defintioon / detail

No contest...
I need time too...Itās the whole package, the cable alone...is an extremely high quality custom silver /copper blend...I know thatās a huge part in it...I had a $350 cable for my LCD2...improved it by 30%...still doesnāt come even close to the same league as these, neither does the AUTERE

Oh yes, I love the cable. Similar quality to the Meze cables I own, if I use the connectors from DD HIFI to test them side by side both on SE
THE DETAIL OF SR-2, I LOVE IT
The bass is also another part that's unexpectedly goo, I expected a somewhat bassy sound, but it has impact with no bloat, it is quick and impactful, me really likey the signature, can clearly hear the premier drum even in poorly recorded songs

Youāre way more eloquent than I...exactly.
The bass is firm, deep but not over present like other phones...itās perfectly balanced...the high are crisp and non-fatiguing.
