I hope they don't rush and get it right. The demo version I tried needed a lots of work.
Great descriptions for both devices, any words on official release date ?Cheers @gylyf. The correct links are here for your viewing:

Look out for these!
Great choices for dedicated stack up for sure. Look to be similar in sizes !! Very nicePictures of the PB5 & D16 showing their green leather cases. They both look great!
Today, I had the opportunity to test out the Osprey, Taipan, and DX260 in my local store. I was particularly impressed with the Osprey. If it's indeed an amp derived from the DX320 Max Ti with Korg Nutubes embedded, I'm excited to give the DX320 Max Ti a try. My initial impression toward osprey is very positive.
Get both when you are not sure , then decide laterDo you have some sound impressions on how the Osprey compares to the Taipan? This is going to be a tough decision deciding which one to go for!

I want to express my thoughts constructively, but the Taipan feels somewhat like an oversized portable USB DAC, lacking the expected power despite having separate volume controls for the DAC and amp, reminiscent of the Max series. Sonically, it's a notable upgrade from the Cayin RU7, offering a natural and transparent sound that aligns with my preference for almost delta sigma quality. However, being honest, the amp side appears rather weak.Do you have some sound impressions on how the Osprey compares to the Taipan? This is going to be a tough decision deciding which one to go for!
That is good to hear. I am not surprised from the output alone of the DAC. Because, why else do we have Osprey release at the same time. It appears that Max is an all rounded medium solution for an all in one device. Then there is a Maxed out solution for Stacking up. Then there is also, top of the line stacking up solution .I want to express my thoughts constructively, but the Taipan feels somewhat like an oversized portable USB DAC, lacking the expected power despite having separate volume controls for the DAC and amp, reminiscent of the Max series. Now, introducing the Osprey into the equation – I must admit I only had time to pair it with my DX300 Max. The Osprey delivers impressive depth, a holographic feel, and a subtle, almost tubey sensation, significantly enhancing the output quality of the DX300 Max.
