DITTO... indeed it does! It's almost mystical - can't explain it.

But... I wanted an amp that sounded equally good with all headphones.

Any other news on the limited edition? I'm considering a Mapletree as my first tube amp, and am wondering if I should go ahead and spring for the limited edition. Think the extra 150USD or so will be worth it?

Tough to answer since no one has heard it. I will say that if you call Dr. Lloyd he will give you an honest opinion on which amp sounds better. Who knows you may save $150
