How do you plug in an aftermarket powercord to 963sa?

That just means the chassis isn't grounded, no big deal for a CDP. It uses a standard IEC socket, correct? just with only two prongs.. A new cord would just have an unoccupied hole for the ground - no big deal.

I agree with KR, the Audioquest NRG1 is killer, and the built in RF stopper improves the performance considerably. Looks nice too!

It does not look like there is anywhere on the back of the 963a where that type of powercord can plug into.

Agreed. That appears to be the wrong type of connector.

yes, for most IEC's, however, there are a lot of players such as Onkyo and Toshiba, and..... that have a 2 prong cord that is detachable. AQ's NRG1 was made for this application, and makes a marked difference. The NRG2, 3, 4, and 5 are for everything else.

I have been thinking about getting the AQ NRG1 for my Pioneer DVD-414 player. So it actually makes a difference? Will the NRG1 work with receivers and turntables? I have a Technics receiver and a Technics turntable will detachable power cords.
