The new stock card is actually being called the "Classic Card" by hifiman as it was voiced based on the old hm801 Classic Card.

I don't have it with me today but you can see the card in the middle form an earlier pic I took:

I can take a couple more pics of the card when I'm home if needed.

This card sound great with vocal, pop, soft rock types.

May i know where to get this card as i am interested in this and possible also the other Angel card.

The Classic card is now the new stock card for 901 & 802.  Or you can also just get the card from Hifiman.

The Angel card is a bit more tricky as you need to source it from Chinese forums.  Like the discrete card it is not mass produced and nor marketed publicly.

Wanted to mention that I've had my 4th RMA 901 for a number of weeks now and it's working like a champ with both my IEM and Balanced amp cards.  Even though it took a while, I'm pleased with Hifiman's support and the final result.  Only issue now is do I want the AK240 instead of the 901!?  It's never ending!

What are the key sound qualities of the Angel Card.

It is more mid forward with a lusher presentation while still being quite transparent. Best for pop/jazz vocals imho. Very textured and holographic vocal presentation. Compared to other DAP it is already a very good all rounders but amongst my 901 boards it shines best with vocal tracks.

I am not sure if this has been already mentioned here, but can the hifiman hm901 drive the audeze LCD 3. My 901 is my only audiophile music source. I don't have a portable and a home rig as many here. I would like to but not enough $$$ haha. Any way, I been really thinking about buying the lcd3, but only if I know if it will sound good with the 901

My LCD-2 are driven fine and the LCD-3 are supposed to be about the same to drive.

Thanks! I have the stock card and my Sennheiser HD 600 sounds incredibly well with it. I assume, if I am going to invest on the Audeze LCD3, I should be thinking on getting the balanced card as well.

To be honest, I am torn between the Audeze LCD3 and the Hifiman HE6. It is really hard to decide when I can't audition any of them. I leave in Atlanta and the only "High End" headphones you see in the stores (hahaha high end) and I am really laughing about this, are Dr. beats and bose.

I drive both the LCD 2 and 3 alright with the 901. So far I've tried the standard, balanced and minibox. No issues. But if you have an opportunity to demo the LCD 3, bring down your 901 and give it a listen and see if you like it. :)
