I've bought the HE400SE for my dad.
After listening to them i like them better than my Hifiman HE-500 (which cost me 500 bucks)
The HE400SE have a little bit more air to them and the Bass is also very nice.
Idk i just like them better. The sound is grand and transparent. Great Headphone.

I like them better than Arya V2 and HE1000 Stealth😅

I have both versions. 25Ohm and 32Ohm, but have not listened to the 32Ohm yet.

Really? Thats great. Isn't the HE1000 a 1500 bucks headphone? Why are the HE400SE better than the HE1000?

Yeah HE1000 Stealth just left 1 week ago.

HE400SE should not exist.

I am interested if HE6SEV2 is the perfect version of HE400SE

Thats all preference.

You might not like it as much as HE1000, but HE400SE is the only headphone that reminds me of Susvara because of the soft texture and transients.

Thats why drum and bass instruments sounds so authentic, the planar panels have a “elastic” play to them the other modern high resolving technical headphones don’t…

I just love this headphone. I will buy my second pair of dekonis pads when I confirm 32Ohm sounds the same

Get a decent R2R DAC and place a SPDIF-3 DDC in front and get a good headamp with power.

Cheap I2S supra hdmi 8k cable inbetween DDC/DAC

Easily endgame for me.

25 and 32 is not the same so far in breakin process of 32.

25Ohm is special! - 32Ohm is still amazing so far but 25Ohm is best to my choice.
