^^ Yeah.. I hear you Matt.  My wife just avoids my office/man-cave but I'm wondering how long that will last.  She's itching for a new kitchen so before I manke any more noticable changes to my HeadFi system, gotta do some renos.
On another note, had the HE560 for almost two weeks and love them. When I heard the HE400i out of my iPhone6 and AK100 MkII at the last Toronto meet.. well.. I need to figure out a way to get them into the house.

im sure these could perform very close to 272 in dynamics with enough amplification on 2stepdace high gain I have to turn it to around 75percent to like what I am hearing not sure if thats enough tho and I also have that feeling that after 1000 hours they should sound on par with 272 but not in resolution and detail imo
Ive watched a movie on them tonight and it was very nice..
What amplification are you guys using?
Maybe I need desktop for these.. with synergy ofc..
