I think you'd be right about that. I've been here for years and just found this section. You're definitely see my name on the list, it'll be interesting to see how the HD700s compare to the Ultrasone PRO2900, Beyer T90, and my vintage STAX SR-5. So far the STAX have been chewing up and spitting out the competition.

I submitted a request to try the Sennheiser HD700.  I once tried them at a very loud Best Buy with a Fiio E17 and my phone.  I would very much like to hear what they sound like through my Bifrost/Asgard combo in a quiet room.  I understand that there were some issues with the last round of demo units and that stricter criteria were considered for the subsequent round.  I have only been a member of  Head-Fi since December 2012 and do not have a ton of posts.  I hope that does not exclude me.  If there is anything that I can do to be considered for the demo program, please let me know.

Are you doing a minimum of 1 year on head-fi or a minimum post count? I could put a link to the demo on a couple of the Momentum threads but I'd want to clarify that since there's probably a lot of newcomers in those threads.
