I have the RS1 with the Aune T1.  I have pared it with an original NOS Amperex white label PQ 6922 which cost almost the same as the Aune in the first place (that would be about $150).  Let me tell you though, the sound stage is absolutely huge.  The stock tube it comes with is nice but no where near as nice as the Amperex.  YMMV but I love the way it sounds.  I almost totally listen to jazz and for me, it's a perfect match.

Another great choice is the Aune T1 with the RS1i. A superb sounding combo that won't break the bank.

The Aune T1 interests me as it's a cheap and simple device with a tube rolling option. I imagine the right tube could give a little warmth and synergy with the RS1i. What was your, or anyone else's experience?

I have never used it, but I know someone who has and said it is pretty good with the HD650.

The tube is on the dac part of the unit......sounds like it could be fun

Nice pic! I've been wanting to try out the Ra-1, I think it would complement my Rs1 very well and I could bring it to work.

Totally! Make sure you got a good DAC though, the rPAC + RA-1 combination is a winner!

^Thanks! I'll read up on the rpac since I don't know much about it...

It is a pretty neat little device, it is powered over the USB cable, so very portable. It also has its own built-in amplifier.

Hey bpcans, thank you :) I am really enjoying them, they sound incredible, and are very comfortable, even though I have big (non-Grado) ears :p.

Their light weight make them very tolerable for long periods of listening.

I can also do stuff with them on like play my guitar and use my MBP for extended periods. Grado's super long extension cord didn't get much use until I setup in my large living room, it comes in very handy.

Nice, I do not have an extension for my headphones, not sure I really need it though.

Thanks. The extension cord is something you won't think you'll use until you use it.
