Quote:
Ready for a joke?
An American couple were coming out of a pub in Germany and were startled to see a German man urinating on the wall.
The American woman exclaimed, "that's gross".
The German man said, "Dankeschön".
Nice joke.
Btw. I like the British humor best.
German comedy series just aren't funny, American comedy is funny, but sometimes not as funny as British.
That's my personal opinion.
I like
Monty Python's, Black Books, Coupling, How Not to Live Your Life, The Office, etc. from U.K. and I like
How I Met Your Mother, Simpsons, Futurama and Seinfeld and some other series from the U.S.
Btw. I'm a huge fan of all Star Trek series and the early discontinued SciFi series Firefly.
I watch it mostly on English. The German dubbing is only great with the Simpsons and Futurama.
We Germans have own comedy series, too, but their humor is... really really dull.
Same goes with non-comedy series. There are only a very few good German series.

Here some German language (presented to you by using food):
[Vocabulary at the end of the text]
Someone mentioned it today in the German Hifi-Forum, so I want to present you my favorite German meal:
Grünkohl mit Bratkartoffeln, Kassler und Pinkel
It really
looks awful, but the taste is soooooooooooo great.
This is usually eaten in the northern parts of Germany and in the wintertime.
In southern Germany we have
Weißwurst, Bretzel, süßer Senf and Knödel (Spätzle, etc.).
Nowadays you can get nearly every regional food in the whole country, plus other foreign foods .
I also like
Wurst und Schinken vom Pferd. (Not many people like it, but that's more a mind thing.)
Hummer and
Regenbogenforelle are my "most beloved" seafoods.
Otherwise I like
Lebkuchen (there are many different qualities),
Lübecker Marzipan and
Schokolade in all variations.
Many French and Italian cheeses are great, too.
A specialty from Switzerland is one of the things I like most (consumed along with
Bauernbrot):
It's
Bündnerfleisch.(It costs about 95 USD for 1kg)
To me, it tastes better than Italian Prosciutto di Parma or Spanish Jamón Ibérico.
I really like Europe for it's huge huge variety of different foods.
And -as you see- I really like tasty food... and so my weigh is about 210 pounds at 6'4"...
