No, I haven't seen it, but from the plot, it looks crazy. I'll have to check it out.

Seriously though, I would make him pay for it in it's entirety. Or perhaps you can upgrade to the IE8 in the meanwhile.

You have a collateral in his ipod already anyway, so it's simple as this... no IE7's or money to buy a new one, then no laptop for him. As long as it isn't a crappy ipod from like 5 years ago it's probably worth more than the IE7 anyway, so you are not at a loss.

And if he somehow expects you to let to this go by and makes a big deal out of it... then I'd strongly re-evaluate that friendship.

he's kinda broke foreign student and a really close friend.

i dont know how i ll handle it.

i think i ll tell him to pay me in installments starting from jan.
