Pretty much everything frequency-response-wise. The emphasized areas are essentially different across the entire spectrum. The Elear sounds a bit more like a well-amped HD650.
They are basically polar opposites among the headphones that sort of orbit the concept of neutrality without actually being neutral - the T1 being a little too bright, thin and U-shaped to be neutral and the Elear being a little too thick, syrupy and n-shaped to be neutral.
Without attempting to draw, their frequency response graphs look a little something like this:
I heard that this year CanJam at RMAF is going to be outside in a tent. Is this true?
Also heard that some companies (headphones and speaker systems) are either not coming or cancelling because of the work in the hotel.

Yes, that is true, last I heard. The remodel was supposed to be finished before RMAF, but it's not going to be done in time. So the CanJam exhibitors will be in a tent outside the hotel, I believe.
I don't know anything about other vendors cancelling or not going, but you can see the list of exhibitors on their website. Seems like a fair number of headphone related exhibitors are on that list.
We will not be in the tent, but inside the hotel in the Evergreen E ballroom, booth EV7. We will have the Utopia's for demo. Not sure how noisy it will be though for any critical listening. (FYI, we don't sell them, just have them to demo our software.)
C4 is a fine cable, have it for my hd800S. Use dhc exclusively for all cables and interconnects. Have chaparone 3 xlr and RCA interconnects coming for my new amp.
Smart! If you buy from the US without physically coming here to make that purchase the UK distributor is not obligated to honor the warranty if it's needed. The dealers for the UK have changed a little. I'll hit you back tomorrow. I need to request a current list to be able to give you good information.
