1000+ Head-Fier
picked this up at a local shop, a fitear/mmcx adapter bloody useful in opening up cable choices
I still think 111 is relevant in this day and age. I tried both the new Ety (ER4XR and SR), and I like 111 more than both of them. Heck, I even like ER4B than both new Etys
Sure you can pick multi-driver in-ear, but I think il'll stay in 111 for quite a long time
thanks for the reply.
what was it in the FitEar that you liked more than the Etys?
Both new Etys sound a bit thinner than 111. The XR, although do have more bass than the SR version, is not as bassy and thick as 111. Bear in mind that in general, 111, XR, and SR is not thick nor bassy, but when you compare the trio, the 111 is bassier and thicker sounding than the others
ER4B, assuming you can find one, is closer to 111 sound-wise. I have ER4B before, but I sold it to my friend.
And yeah, my 111 is the new version. It has both glossy (near bore and tips) and matte (outside) finish, so make sure you get that version (old version is glossy all-around, and have thinner sounding)

Actually, Jaben is also authorized; they too have their own logo printed on the shell for their 111 units. Not really an important issue, though.
Identical. The "J" prefix denotes the initial of the retailer that it is sold.https://store.jaben.com/products/fitear-j111
would it then be accurate to say that this variant of the F111 is identical just that the name is diff?
